JourneyI was LostJourney by ~Bear36
Gone astray
Far from the beaten path
The thick of the forest
Swallowing me whole
Suffocating
My own mind
Tearing itself apart
Sowing the seeds
Of my destruction
And then
From the underbrush
Came forth a Bear
Long in snout
And fur like snow
Its onyx eyes
Offered only my reflection
It stared at me
Waiting for a response
Then it turned
As if something new
Called out to it
Without prompt
I followed
Wishing to leave
That desolate place
There was no sound
Save the rustling of leaves
Dancing in the Wind
And the soft crunch
That came with every step
Minutes passed
Maybe hours
Time was void
I found myself
At the face of a cliff
It

Reap and SowWe workReap and Sow by ~Bear36
We struggle
We labor on
To create something
That will bring us salvation
Of the People
By the People
For the People
It is glorious
It is magnificent
Our societal God
With Scale in one hand
And Sword in the other
We follow blindly
Herded like sheep
By empty promises
And false Hope
There can be no Order
Without Chaos
No Peace
Without War
No Beginnings
Without End
We sow the seeds
Of our own destruction
And reap the fruit
Of our own ignorance

America the HumanAmerica the beautifulAmerica the Human by ~Bear36
America the brave
America the strong
Land of the Free
Where the people
Decide the rules
Land of equality
Where independence
Outweighs obedience
This is the land
We Live in today
Isn't it marvelous?
America the bloodthirsty
America the bask-stabbers
America the lying thieves
Land of Slaves
Where it's kill
Or be killed
Land of supremacy
Where gluttony
Outweighs mortality
This is the land
We Live in today
Isn't it hideous?
America the Human
Land of Revolution
Where change is inevitable

Children of the EarthWe sprang forth from the EarthChildren of the Earth by ~Bear36
Molded from the red clay
Like all brothers and sisters
Given a Life to share
With all other living things
Connected to each other
In a web that cradles us all
We have walked this land
For many moons
Though harsh summers
And ruthless winters
The Spirits guide us
To understand one another
For there is no difference
Between the spider and the bear
We live an equal Life
We breathe the same Air
Drink the same Water
Walk on the same Dirt
We each have a Heart
And it beats
Like the hooves of the buffalo
We each have a soul
And it sings
Like the call of the eagle
We are nothing more
And nothing
